Vanity post 10 comments

Allow me to indulge myself in my fifteen minutes of fame on the Straits Times front page earlier this week. In the same way that hawkers paste photos of celebrities posing at their food stalls with a thumbs-up, I attach the relevant part of the news article below, for all posterity.

Hi DanielXX, Out surfing for information on real estate note & happened upon your site. While Vanity post wasn't exactly spot on, it did strike a note with me. Thank you for the really good read.

ysh2,
Revenue halved after IPO, profit turned to loss, S$20M receivables is about equal to full-year turnover (watch out for future provisions), negligible cash holdings, lack of operational scale ( < S$20M for a telco service provider... way too small).

Don't think the NTA is a good support level. It's only a psychological level, and I don't think the company is going to turn around easily. If I don't remember wrongly, it's trying to grow its recurring income while cutting back on one-time projects revenue; seems like it's having a hard time doing that because the telcos (their customers) won't take easily to people trying to take a share of the pie.

PS: ysh2, sorry for dissing your stock.... I'm just trying to explain its low stock price, and that you may consider selling on strength.

Hah, I like the way you compare this posting to the hawkers' pin ups.
