Poll results: Age profile of site visitors 4 comments

(P.S: Sorry for any disturbances the advertisements above may have caused you)
Thought I will end this current poll on "How many years have you been investing/trading in the Singapore stock market?" after 1.5 weeks. About 25 site visitors have entered the poll and the profile is as follows: 10 visitors (40%) have been in the market for >10 years, 3 (12%) are semi-veterans between 5-10 years, 8 (32%) have only started in the new millenium (3-5 years) and hence tasted the sour (2000-2003) before the sweet, while only about 4 (16%) are relatively new (between 0-2 years).
I'm trying to gauge how many unique visitors I have to this blogsite from the poll (each unique visitor can only enter the poll once). If we base on click-through rate of my Google ads of about 2% and extrapolate it to my poll (similar location, similar effort) it suggests 25/2% or 1250 total! Well if instead we use a more realistic figure of 10-20% then the figure is about 125-250.
As for the age profile distribution, I'm not sure what this means but it seems that I should perhaps make my blogs easier and less technical/quantitative?? On the other hand, perhaps only the veteran investors bothered to enter the poll haha.

I'm one of those who polled. i have less than 2 years of investing experience.
"I should perhaps make my blogs easier and less technical/quantitative??" for a rookie investor like me, i think the blogs are easy to understand and are very well-organised. this is a pretty good blogsite for me to learn.
Hi hq,
Glad you find it so. Do you visit any other local stock blogs which you find interesting? (just checking because I'm looking to add links to them).
Thanks for your support at the polls :-) & happy CNY!
Cheers,
